10er collects certain information about you and your use of the service. We make it a virtue to collect as little as possible. On this page, you can read about what data we collect, how, and why.

Collected Information

  1. Email: When you sign up for 10er, you do so with your email address or a sign-in provider. In either case, we collect your email address. This is used to identify you and log into the system.
  2. Payment Card: 10er does not store your payment card information. When you sign up, we send you via a secure connection to Stripe, our payment processor where you can add your payment card. Stripe, however, stores the information for later use. For details, see Stripe's own privacy policy and information about security.
  3. Personal Information: If you use 10er to receive payments, Stripe handles the collection and storage of additional information, including name, address, bank account, and photo ID. This information is collected and stored securely by Stripe. 10er may receive some of this information to the extent allowed by Stripe. See Stripe Connect's terms for details.
  4. Non-personal Information: We may collect non-identifiable information such as IP address, device type. We may also collect additional anonymous information to understand usage patterns on the service.
  5. Cookies: 10er uses cookies to recognize you so that you are logged in every time you visit the site.

Data Sharing

  1. Your email is visible to the owner of the projects you subscribe to. This is so they can keep track of who is paying them. 10er is not responsible for any misuse of emails by project owners.
  2. 10er does not share your personal information with anyone or anything unless we have your explicit approval.

Data Deletion

  1. You can request to have your account and thus all your data deleted at any time. Some data will be retained for use in accounting and similar archival purposes, but in such cases, it will be anonymized.
  2. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Account deletion can be done via Settings.
